WiFi

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire airport terminal — landside and airside — via the network name "Airport_Free_Wifi". Simply connect to the network and follow the portal instructions. No time limits are currently enforced. The connection is adequate for browsing and streaming, though speeds can slow during peak periods. Premium faster WiFi is available as a paid upgrade for heavy users.

Schiphol's lounge options can be confusing because the airport uses the word "Lounge" to refer to both its airside shopping and dining halls and premium passenger lounges. The key premium lounges are:

Left luggage / baggage storage is available at the Baggage Storage desks, located landside at Kelderplein (basement level between Arrivals 1 and 2). Open daily. Price: approximately €8–€12 per item per 24 hours depending on size. Lockers are also available near Arrivals.

Smoking

Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is completely prohibited in the entire terminal building, both before and after security. There are no designated smoking areas inside the terminal. Smokers must exit the building to the outdoor areas in front of the Departures halls. Non-compliance results in a fine.

Prayer Rooms & Chapel

A non-denominational Meditation and Prayer Room is located airside in the terminal (between Lounges 2 and 3 on Holland Boulevard). It is open 24/7 for passengers of all faiths. A separate airport chapel service is available — ask at information desks for current location. Prayer washing facilities are also available nearby.

Showers

Shower cabins are available airside, 24/7, in the EF filter area — accessible from Lounge 2 or from Holland Boulevard. These are clean, private cabins with towels and toiletries. Cost: approximately €15–€20 per session. KLM Crown Lounge members and Aspire Lounge passengers can also use shower facilities within their respective lounges (some at additional charge).
